Hill Metals is Saudi Arabia’s largest Steel manufacturing company involved in all the aspects of steel manufacturing. It has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, a diverse and multicultural workforce, and seventy years plus of heritage in the steel sector. The manufacturing facility consists of three main segments, scrap processing, melting, and rolling.
Prism Digital was chosen by Hill Metals to create for them an innovative corporate brochure as well as complete corporate stationery. Right from the graphics to the content collation, Prism Digital did it all. The biggest challenge was to create everything in two languages, namely Arabic and English. It’s challenging since one has to pay attention to minute details in terms of font, spacing as well as color combinations while creating their corporate stationery (envelope, business card, letterhead, etc.) and brochure.
Hill Metals invited more than ten companies to pitch for their branding and design projects. They called in agencies from 5 different GCC countries to pitch for the project. Prism Digital won the mandate after a grueling two-month pitch process. The brief was to completely change the way the company looked right down the corporate branding, logo design, corporate collateral, as well as all their company’s sales and corporate brochures, PQDs, and other visual elements, including presentation and digital media. Our design team created a whole series of corporate branding options for the management and over a period of one month, narrowed down to one logo design and spatial visual identity. We also created several options for the corporate identity of the company, and once the management settled on one design, we created the visual identity guidelines and the brand management handbook. Prism Digital also went ahead and designed the rest of its corporate collaterals exactly how they had envisioned it.
